When I try to burn to a 800 MB blank, CloneCD indicates that the image is too big to fit onto the medium.
CloneCD wouldn't mind if you'd use blanks that contain as much space as your hard drive. A software is not limited to those physical values, hardware is. Some writers cannot write up to 800 MB. And very few are able to exceed 850 MB.
Furthermore the ATIP information on the blanks often indicates, that there is only 700 MB free. In that case (CloneCD opens a requester telling you the image might be too big) just choose the option 'Try to overburn' and hope it will work out.
